Tyler J. Friedman- Attorney/Associate

 

Tyler developed an interest in law after graduating cum laude from Brandeis University
in Waltham, Massachusetts in 2016, where he majored in business, politics, and
psychology. After two years of work in the legal field following his undergraduate
education, Tyler enrolled at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. While in law
school he worked as a research assistant, contributing toward work done on the
Restatement (Third) of Conflict of Laws and the Examples & Explanations series for First
Amendment Law. He earned his Juris Doctorate in 2021, graduating cum laude and
receiving the Kranzel Award.
After graduation, he clerked for the Honorable Elizabeth Jackson in the Family Court of
the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania. Following his clerkship, Tyler moved to
Delaware and was admitted into the Delaware bar where he began practicing with a
focus on estate planning, elder law, real estate, and landlord tenant matters. Tyler has
served as the Secretary of the Elder Law Section since the start of the 2024-2025 term.
